My client at work is a very conservative company in the Financial industry, so when they come into the office or when I meet up with them, I like to make sure that I look extra profesh. I probably see them every other week or at least a few times a month, so this means that I get to pull out my neutral colors fairly often.
I’m going to be honest… I don’t know why I ever bought the Naked palette. Seriously. I have so many awesome indie neutrals, and I never pick up my expensive palette. Instead, when I want to wear something toned down, I go to a set of normal favorites.
But this time, I went to some different colors. I pulled out Sometimes My Arms Bend Back. To be honest, I wasn’t jumping up and down for this color when I first got it. I mean, it’s a nice brown color, but it’s nothing special. But sometimes, that’s exactly what you need! So while I wasn’t so excited to have such a whatever color. It’s not that it’s not a nice color – it is. It’s just a light rosey tan with some sparkles, but not a ton.
See. It is really pretty. Especially when paired with a nice pin-up winged liner (I love the Kat Von D Taoo Liner! Seriously! It’s awesome!)
To add a bit of spice, I paired this with Party Girl from Kiss My Sass. Party Girl is my absolute favorite lip tint she offers. It wears well. It lasts forever. AND LOOK AT THAT COLOR.
BAM! That is a bright pink!
